Religiosa: Journal of Islamic Studies places Islam and Muslim societies at the center of scholarly inquiry by welcoming original and critical studies that examine Islam as a theological tradition as well as a dynamic social, cultural, intellectual, and historical phenomenon. Serving as an academic forum for the study of Islam in Indonesia and other parts of the world, the journal encourages focused and interdisciplinary research on Islamic thought, practices, institutions, and Muslim communities within local, national, and global contexts. Religiosa also serves as a scholarly platform for the dissemination and exchange of ideas, theoretical perspectives, and research findings among academics, researchers, and practitioners from diverse disciplinary backgrounds, thereby contributing to the advancement of Islamic studies and fostering constructive academic dialogue on Islam and Muslim societies in a changing world.

Religiosa: Journal of Islamic Studies is a scholarly journal managed and published by CV. Literasi Cendekia Abadi. It publishes original and critical interdisciplinary studies on Islam and Muslim societies as theological, social, cultural, intellectual, and historical phenomena, with a focus on Indonesia and global contexts. The journal welcomes research on Islamic thought, religious practices, institutions, and Muslim communities, and serves as a forum for scholarly exchange among academics, researchers, and practitioners.
Published electronically and available through open access, Religiosa is issued twice a year, in February and August. Its first issue, Volume 1, Number 1, was published in August 2026. All submissions undergo editorial screening and, if suitable, peer review before the editorial board makes the final decision. Through this process, Religiosa seeks to maintain academic quality, broaden access to scholarly knowledge, and contribute to the development of Islamic studies at national and international levels.
